Default What is the insoluble stuff in the "Ensure" meal replacement drink?

About the ensure nutritional drink in powder form, when you dissolve it in water, some sticky stuff cannot be dissolved. Does anyone know the components of the sticky stuff and if it is ok for me to filter them out?

    why not?

my doctor told me to drink ensure after i got a root canal. it tastes good. i think you only get the insoluble stuff if the water isnt too hot. what i did was to put ensure in my glass first, then pour boiling water (hot water just wouldnt do) -- i put about 1/4 cup boiling water. and then i add more water.
