Default Are Lean Pockets a healthy meal replacement?

I am considering eating Whole Wheat Lean Pockets rather than eating a full meal. They have protein and vegetables and they seem to be reasonably healthy. I also eat plenty of fruits and not much else. Would a diet like this help me lose weight or just stabilize it?

They are better than many things, and worse than many things. I keep some in my freezer, and nuke one every once in a while when I get a craving, sure. But limit them, they are far from a "health" food - they are just leaner than regular hot pockets, which ain't sayin much, lol.

A diet like this will quickly run down your body. You need a certain amount of calories to sustain yourself, and although lean pockets are reasonably low in calories, they are not necessarily healthy. They are very high in sodium. Please speak to a nutritionist and your doctor before you continue your plan.

Judging by the amount of sodium and preservatives that make their home in hotpockets, I would have to say you should pass on this meal replacement "plan".

haha I didnt even know they made whole wheat hot pockets, good marketing using the word lean in the title by the company though.

I agree with consulting your nutritionist first, especially if you have a health condition. Seeing the professional will help you lose weight the healthy way. I still suggest to go with the natural way of losing weight and that is to eat lots of fruits and vegetables, drink plenty of water, and regular exercise.

The biggest problem with processed food like lean pockets is that they're very high in sodium, which is bad for your heart.
