Default Are carnation instant breakfasts good meal replacements when trying to lose...

...some weight? Like a substitute for 2 meals.. then have one sensible meal that day?? I think the chocolate, the powder you mix yourself with milk, tastes great.
I mean, how could drinking a chocolate milk drink with vitamins and minerals, instead of solid food, NOT cause you to lose weight?

I'm not too sure about the Carnation instant breakfasts, because I have never actually tried those. I have, however, been on the Slim Fast plan (Chocolate) and I just never really had the willpower to stick to it. I'm sure if I would have, then it would have worked much better. I did hear, though, that Slim Fast is actually bad for you, and can give you ulcers. So, I'm glad I am done with that. I doubt that the Carnation kind is like that, as they make Formula for babies and things like that. Why not give it a try for a couple months, and see where it takes you? I suppose the results could be diffeent from person to person. I would think, though, that they would work great for weight loss.

if you can do it wonderful..otherwise i would suggest you try that but only for 1 meal a day. the other two can be like a salad for one, and then some boiled or broiled veggies for another meal.. the reason is if you eat a low calorie meal every day for a few days you will lose weight. but your body is VERY smart (extremely smart) it figures out that your caloric intake is very low. long story short, if you eat the same meal for a month your body will figure out whats going on and will start to prepare for starvation mode, which you dont want. so always always try to balance your meals with different healthy choices. for example cereal one day, and the next morning fruit, the morning after toast, and so on.
