New Here. Back in the Ball Game, (so to speak). I have a new life. Sort of a start over.
About 5 years ago I was around 289 lbs. A size 22-24. Then In May 2007 I was down to 238 lbs and in December 2007 I was 200. Now in August 2008, I have gained 23.5 lbs and I am so miserable.
I have had a few family problems that I found difficulity controlling and now I am back on track. The word NO is so powerful and it has taken me a year and 2 months to finally learn to use it.
I am on track now and currently trying out Alli diet pill. So far no side effects and it has really helped with my metabolism.
But it is not a fix, just a kick start.
I am usually on Atkins, but find when I have too much protein, it makes me sick.
Now I cut my fats, eat more natural foods and whole foods and I have started exercising again.
I want to achieve the goal of 10-14 lbs a month now through December.
I know I can do it if I just have the support. My Hubby and Son are all for it and support me completely.
My family? Well, it is a challenge with them.
I used to belong to 2 well known diet forums but the constant bickering and whining and blame game of the weight gain, just did me in.
I am staying positive with this new group and new way of life.
