Phentermine is a pharmacy grade weight loss pill that synthesizes hormones and compounds in the body that decrease the body’s ability to store fat and increase the body’s ability to burn stored fat reserves. Based on many years of proven results, phentemine is a highly successful weight loss product that acts as a suppression aid whilst increasing energy levels and metabolism levels.

Every drug/medicine has side effects. You may have little or notice none at all on some pills that you take but if you are concerned with your health, it's best to contact your doctor about it. Weight loss pills and appetite suppressants can cause liver and kidney problems if not taken the right way. You have to double your water intake to ensure that you cleanse your body from harmful ingredients that may hurt you.

I read that users have observed some side effects from taking phentermine. These are constipation, diarrhea, difficulty sleeping, dizziness, dry mouth, exaggerated sense of well being and headache. I agree with you that all drugs/medications have side effects and that a doctor has to be consulted first because you'll never know if that will cause adverse reactions to other health medications you are taking.

My co-worker used phentermine and he said that he had some rashes all over him after a few days of taking it. He thought that it was something else so he continued taking them for a few more days. Then started to notice tightness in the chest that he has never experienced before. His mouth was also swelling same with his lips and his tongue. It only went away when he stopped using the phentermine. I have not not taken any weight loss pills or appetite suppressants but I lost about 38lbs by controlling my calorie intake and perseverance to lose weight. I know that eventually my body will suffer from complications if I depend my weight loss to pills so I decided to go with the natural way. After all it was my health condition that drove me to shed off more pounds so I have to protect it.

People with the following should not use Phentermine:

    • Allergy to phentermine ingredients (check the label to see all the ingredients)
    • Are also taking dexfenfluramine, fenfluramine, furazolidone, guanadrel, guanethidine, or have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (eg, phenelzine) in the last 14 days
    • Have severe high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, glaucoma, heart or blood vessel disease, or severe narrowing of the blood vessels
    • Are in an agitated state, or have a history of substance abuse

Some medical conditions may interact with Phentermine, patients with the following should consult with their doctor before using phentermine:

    • Are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding
    • Are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement
    • Have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances
    • Have a brain or spinal cord disorder, hardening of the arteries, high blood pressure, diabetes, or high cholesterol or lipid levels
    • Some medicines may interact with phentermine, such as the following:
    • Dexfenfluramine, fenfluramine, furazolidone, or MAOIs (eg, phenelzine) because the risk of serious side effects, such as increasing headache, high blood pressure, slow heart rate, elevated temperature, or possibly fatal lung problems, may be increased
    • Guanadrel(Hylorel) or guanethidine(Ismelin) because their effectiveness may be decreased by phentermine
    • Antacids: Antacids may decrease the excretion of phentermine
    • Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors (acetazolamide, dichlorphenamide, methazolamide): Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors may decrease the excretion of phentermine

    I hope this helps everyone

I totally agree with this post sasa! Checking the label for ingredients is one of the things you can do to protect yourself from harmful side effects. If you are taking any medication, better consult with the doctor first before you self medicate. Losing weight is not worth it if you lose your health on the process. Always look after your body all the time.

Right! It's best to go with the natural way of losing weight and that is with dieting and exercising. You will never go wrong with that. The effects maybe slow, but it will make you feel better about your achievement. When you see the results of your hard work, you will not mess with it and maintain control over your eating habit all the time.

Eating healthy all the time is what our body needs to perform at its best. Balance your diet, avoid junk foods and too much sweets, drink plenty of water, and continued exercise will help you lose weight and stay fit. You don't need to stress your organs and cells with harmful ingredients to lose weight. All you need is patience and the will to lose weight naturally and you will succeed.

Stay active all the time and you will burn all those stored fats. Start to eat right with more fruits, vegetables, and fiber rich foods while you avoid junk foods, sodas, and too much sweets and you will really lose weight. There is no doubt about that. Just like what they all said, it's a slow process but it will be worth it because you maintain a healthy body while losing all those extra pounds.
