I was thinking of trying this fitness plan I saw advertised on TV It looks pretty legit to me, especially since they aren't trying to make it look like its easy because we all know easy doesn't get results.

The reason I want to get in shape is that I'm turning 21 in a few months and have gained close to 40 pounds since high school, I'm feeling very out of shape for my age and also have dreams of being a police officer so I obviously need to shape up. No opinion based "answers" please. Only answer if you have actually done this workout or know someone who has since I want to make sure it's good before buying it.

    Thanks guys wish me luck
Yeah I have way to much hips, bum and chest to end up looking manly haha. I just have always wanted to be ripped and feel strong and healthy.

I tried it. I only did it for a month though. Beginning I was 5'3 & 142lbs.....after a month I was 146lbs. I am assuming that is because of muscle weight gain, because I was dieting & eating healthy. But honestly, I felt like I was getting "man arms". I didn't want to be manly muscular. I want to tone up, but not get huge, so I stopped & went to Turbo Jam instead & like it much better. BUT my husband is in the military & is 3 weeks away from completing the program. He is looking much more muscular. He did initially gain weight (like I did), but has since gone from 205 to 189lbs since then (he is 6'2).
I would reccommend it if you want to gain muscle. I just didn't like the "muscular man-body" I felt like I was getting.

Thumbs up P90X Its a great Workout At most levels.

To answer your question P90X is fabulous it’s a great workout that you should do at your own level they demonstrate how to do it for your level. The stretching program and the yoga are awesome!!! Those women are crazy flexible in the videos everyone should do the program and be that flexible LOL ....I have been doing the program for a while now and I use it with several of my clients (I’m a Personal trainer)

If you have not Purchased the program yet you can get it from my site off the retail price on infomercial.

One more piece of advice, why wait till you lose 10 more lbs?? Start it now if you already have not Putting it off now will give you more reason for you to put it off when you don’t lose that 10 lbs. or whatever you make the excuse for (I'm the Same way!!!) Jump in join the people who are doing the program. You can even win $ when you log in your workouts 300-1000 / week or 25000 quarterly.
