Hey there,
I just completed my first P90X work out and I had a blast. It really got the old ticker goin and it really got me sweating!!!
My only concern comes from some of the material I have read and some of the success stories I've come across. I dont think im the "A" typical body type of a person on P90X. Most of the people I have seen are not terribly overweight and just have a few pounds to loose and some toneing up to do. Im 34 years old, 5'10", 263 lbs. However im not your average 260 pounder. I love to mountain bike, rock climb and a host of other outdoor activities. I also play numerous sports and I consider myself athletic. Im a pretty solid muscular guy but I do carry around alot of extra weight... especially in the upper body.
I guess im wondering what can i expect over the next 90 days? Can a guy like myself loose 20-30 lbs or is the program more designed on a guy who is 10 lbs overweight and wants to gain muscle and get ripped???
Im pretty sure the program will do something (if the sweat on the floor after my first workout is any indication), but I just dont want to waste time and energy on something that wont work that well for me.
Any thoughts???
Thanks
More...
