I think the best person to answer that question is your physician. It also depends on where you had the surgery. If I were you, I would call your doctor and ask what you can do. Maybe swimming is a good alternative Don't make the mistake of injuring yourself by not letting the area where you had the surgery heal, thus causing you not to workout for longer period than 4 weeks. Follow the instructions of your doctor and you will get back on track fast!!!
