You have just nailed your problem with your last post.
You're eating out of the enlisted mans mess,..... not the officers mess or the chiefs mess. You know, guys who get fresh stuff.
You are being given Max Cals. And what YOU have to do is start to identify how to cut back on what you have been offered as normal fare to eat. Make friends with somebody in the kitchen. Any time you can get a salad/fruit/vegetables that are steamed,.... EAT THEM.
See if you can start your breakfast with Yogurt instead of Carbs and pork products.
Take a look on this site at Michi's ladder (just google it and eat things off Tier 1 and 2) and try to grab things off that. Try to educate yourself as to what you would like to have to eat even though it is probably not being offered to you.
I know that you are being offered high cal, high fat processed foods. Just understand that food that comes out of a box is usually S&%t and NOT what you are trying to eat while doing this program. So use your head and do the best you can. If you can dial down some of your calories and clean some of them up, you will get results.
