Thanks! That was very interesting. I don't even use my monitor when I do the Yoga and Stretch because the calorie burn isn't worth keeping track of. I base my calorie burn on what I was doing before I started P90X. When i was running/walking I would burn a about 400 calories in an hour. When I would do an intense video for an hour it would always be the same or 50-100 more calories burned for that hour. I thought with P90X, my calorie burn would be a lot more and it hasn't been. When I am done with the DVD, I get on the treadmill and run for about 15 minutes to bring my calorie burn up. But, are you telling me that the calorie burn isn't really what the monitor is saying?? I am not sure I understood why this is. I know when I treadmill the treadmill says I am buring way more than my monitor says I am. So, I tend to look at my monitor and not the treadmill. If the calories burned aren't accurate on the monitor, what do we use to gauge calories burned or do we not??
I will do the Plyo X and see what my monitor says. I do keep moving in between breaks for sure! I am always in my range or a lot of times over what I am supposed to be but I was told that if I felt comfortable being over to keep going and I do.
