Default how many calories does this crazy workout burn?

How many calories are you’re burning, you asked…Calculate one calorie for each repetition (both legs, or both arms are one repetition if done alternatively) so it would depend on how fast you are. Then add 2.25 calories a minute for stretching (and please, don’t tell me you’re doing only 5 minutes at the end…).I guess this workout is better than nothing.Must be a bother, always having to look at the clock…But why do some people have to be told what to do instead of just listening to their body instead of anybody else? What do you think you’re going to accomplish in 30 seconds crunches or 1 minute abs or pushups? Anyway, what is the difference between what you call “crunches” and what you call “abs” (I hope you’re not doing hurtful and ineffective sit-ups).You have to do as much as you can, how many and how long does not really matter…once is enough to do the deed, until you feel the burn and tear your muscle fibers so they have to repair stronger while you rest the next day. You have to go beyond your limit, not just conveniently stop after a minute so you don’t do any damage, don’t tear your muscles so they can’t heal stronger and you get a big fat zilch, nada, zero, nothing, bumpkuss except the one calorie you burnt per repetition! If you’re out of shape (I’m talking about women here), it could take you only a minute (and 10 slow crunches) to feel the burn while doing crunches. If you’re in better shape, it might take you 4 minutes and 40 crunches to feet the burn. You’d be better off warming up with jumping jacks, stretching a few minutes, doing push-ups until it burns and you cannot do one more without losing proper form…stretching again for a few minutes (the muscles you just used and the ones you’re going to use next), do as many crunches as you can until it burns and you cannot do one more without losing proper form, stretch a few minutes. Don’t do “a minute break”, do stretching, which are really useful breaks. The most important part is not the few seconds it takes to push your muscles beyond their limits and tear them up…(you usually need more than 30 seconds or one minute to accomplish that and finally get to that last ultimate rep you could do with great effort, but still keeping good form) it’s the few days it takes for them to repair stronger. When I don’t exercise because I’m sore, I’m thinking “yeah! My body is getting stronger!” If you’re in your 20s or younger, you might need a day of two of rest, in your 30s, you will need 2 or 3 days, in your 40s, 3 or 4 days, in your 50s, 4 or 5 days…and so on.Why don’t you do lunges or squats for you legs? (I think they’re better than burpees).
