Hey dsbrego! First, I just wanted to say THANK YOU for your service to our country and protecting us all!
As far as achieving the best results... 80% of your results are going to come from your diet (if not more). However, you're definitely in a completely different situation than the vast majority of the people who do this program. If you ever have a chance to get some fruits and veggies than take advantage of it. I'm not quite sure what your MOS is but while the MRE's etc. definitely have high calories, fats, carbs, they were designed that way for a purpose. Doing some of the physical activity that you're doing plus P90X on top of it is going to expend a lot of energy, hence the burning of calories to drop any weight. While you definitely will not be able to follow the program to a T, I really wouldn't worry about it. Just do what you can during your deployment and then when you get back you can focus on cutting BF. Plus you'll have an even better idea of what to do and how things work with the program.
