Default RE: Is P90X for me and what can I expect??

When I started my first round of P90X I weighed 231 lbs with 26.1% body fat. I'm 6', btw. Over my 90 day P90X journey, I lost over 40 lbs and dropped my body fat to around 12.5% and I wasn't nearly as active as you are when I first started. I didn't mountain bike or rock climb. Heck, I would be out of breath just climbing the stairs of my house. Since then, I've done 10-minute trainer and Chalean Exteme and I just started my second round of P90X.

So, what can you expect over the next 90 days? A lot of soreness, a questioning of your sanity, and a strong desire to quote Tony Horton. Seriously though, you will get out of P90X what you put into it. If you follow the nutrition guide and push play everyday, you will transform not only your body but your life. I can't tell you how thankful I am to have taken that first step. Congratulations.

Good luck and push play everyday.

I asked my cousin about P90X and he said it's really good but I didn't expect it to be this effective. Is P90X just for men or can women use it as well?

I read that P90X is both for men and women but the program is extremely hard, so if you want to try it, be ready.

Extremely hard? That sounds discouraging. Like how hard are we talking about here? What type of workout does the program require?

I feel challenged though. My exercise is not that intense but it makes me want to try it. If only I have time.

Military boot camp? You're kidding? Would you know what sort of workouts they are? Can you list some examples? Only if you have the information of course
