    Default chest pains during workout

Hi everyone, it's my 7th week doing the p 90 x program. During the plyometrix training i suddenly felt that i am having difficulty breathing and having a little bit of chest pains so I stopped right away. It's been 3 days and i still feel so weak. does anybody already experienced the same thing?

My friend is doing P90X program too and I remember he called in sick at work because he couldn't move at all. I think the pain and soreness is normal during the first week. I read that you can get some glutamine or eat a banana for the potassium after the workout and it'll help. Warm compress will help and try your best to continue with the program. P90X is a strenuous workout and if you are feeling too much pain, I it's best to see your doctor just to see if everything is okay

I totally agree with dazzler! If the pain is too much see an expert. It's not good to push yourself too much if your body couldn't take it. It's better to be safe than sorry.

When you have your workout too much for your body could really make you feel pains on your chest and even some parts of your body, too.
Don't push so hard with your schemes, you'll reach your goals without having those pains on your chest.

That's right and pushing yourself too much can lead to severe muscle problems. P90X is not for everyone so it's best to consult with an expert to see if this is the right workout for you.

Pushing yourself to exercise in a degree that your body cannot take is dangerous because you can be paralyzed or have muscular or skeletal injuries.
