    Default Fresh Peach Sundaes



    These peaches are equally as good served over angel food cake. Servings: 4



    • 4 ripe peaches
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
    • 3 teaspoons water
    • 2 cups frozen vanilla yogurt

    Peel, pit, and chop peaches. Put in a large pan with sugar, cinnamon and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Mix cornstarch with 3 tablespoons water. Add to peaches while stirring. Cook 2 more minutes.

    Spoon over frozen vanilla yogurt.

    Per Serving: 257 Calories; 4g Fat (13.8% calories from fat); 1g Saturated Fat; 4g Protein; 54g Carbohydrate; 2g Dietary Fiber; 1mg Cholesterol; 65mg Sodium. Exchanges: 0 Grain(Starch); 1/2 Fruit; 1 Fat; 3 Other Carbohydrates.

    I have to agree with mikaela ! This is very easy to do and tasty. Losing weight and eating healthy is not a bad thing at all because we can enjoy these delicious desserts!

    This is one dessert that I would love to try out soon too. I am definitely eating more this time because of these mouthwatering and low calorie recipes you all have posted here . Thanks for sharing seepia!

    I love this recipe too and I agree with viktoria that it is easy to do. Something this delectable is unbelievably low in calorie

    And I'd like to share that peach and mango tastes perfect together so if you want a different taste to this peach sundae, you can add some mangoes to it too

    Thanks for sharing mikaela! I'll try that too. I love mangoes as well and I'm sure this will bring a more interesting taste to the sundae.
