    Default Honey Lime Fruit Toss

    This is one of my favorite low calorie recipes. I made this 4 times already and I love it! You should try it as well.

    Ingredients

    1 can (20 oz.) DOLEŽ Pineapple Chunks
    1 can (11 or 15 oz.) DOLE Mandarin Oranges, drained
    1 large DOLE Banana, sliced
    1 DOLE Kiwi fruit, peeled, halved and sliced
    1 cup quartered DOLE Fresh or Frozen Strawberries
    1/4 teaspoon grated lime peel (optional)
    2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
    1 tablespoon honey

    Directions

    Drain pineapple; reserve 1/4 cup juice.

    Combine pineapple chunks, mandarin oranges, banana, kiwi fruit and strawberries in large serving bowl.

    Stir together reserved pineapple juice, lime peel, lime juice and honey in small bowl. Pour over salad; toss to coat.


    Serves: 7
    Prep Time: 10 min.

    This is a good snack/dessert recipe. I usually make my own fruit dessert. I slice my favorite fruits and squeeze a lemon to taste. No sugar or honey... I use fresh fruits too.

    I do that once in awhile too. But when I don't have time to buy fresh fruits, I use this version. Both are healthy and low in calories so it's okay.

    I usually buy the ready to eat fresh fruit mix. Our supermarkets in our area sells them. This sounds pretty good too.

    Great tips guys.. I love fruits.. I can eat 2 or more of them and not feel bad about it.

    I agree.. I, for one, loves fruit. I always have fruit in my table. Same goes with vegetables too..
