3 1/3 cups bonito soup stock
3 tablespoons white or red miso

    Directions:

    1. Soak dried wakame seaweed in water for about 15 minutes to reconstitute it. Drain the water.

    2. Cut the tofu into 1/3 in. cubes.

    3. Slice the long green onion diagonally into 3/4 in. pieces.

    4. Boil bonito soup stock and add tofu and wakame.

    5. After boiling, put some stock into a ladle. Add the red miso and stir with chopsticks until it is dissolved. Stir into the soup. Remove from heat.

I've heard of miso soup but the ones I've tried isn't very good. I'm going to make this recipe. Hopefully, it will taste better.

This is common served in japanese restaurants but it doesn't have much tofu. I love miso soup. Miso ramen is great too.

What's a bonito soup stock? What about wakame? I ate Japanese food before but mostly just sushis and takoyaki. There are bento meals and tempura meals too.
