    Default Blackberry Melon and Cream

    I am going to try this recipe for snack tomorrow.. It's healthy, low in calories and without a doubt, delicious.

    Ingredients

    1/2 cup tub style nonfree cream cheese, softened
    2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    1 Tbsp. low fat milk
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    1/2 cantaloupe, peeled, seeded, and cut lengthwise into 1/4-inch-thick slices
    1 cup blackberries
    4 tsp. sliced almonds, toasted

    Directions

    Combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, almond extract and milk with a mixer until smooth. Place cantaloupe and berries on dessert plates and top with cream.

    Nutritional Information

    Serves: 4
    Calories: 97
    Total fat: 1g
    Protein: 5g
    Fiber: 4g
    Sodium: 180mg
    Carbs: 16g

    Blackberries..I love them.. This is an interesting dessert recipe mikaela.. 97 calories per serving? This is my kind of recipe.

    Cool!! I haven't had blackberries before.. I usually just buy strawberries, blueberries, cherries or raspberries..

    I don't think there's blackberries here so I'll just use blueberries.. I think I'll use substitute sugar too.. Or try without using one.

    I tried making it without sugar and it taste good to me. That's because I'm not used to eating sweet foods. If you're the same as me, you'll enjoy this snack as much as I did.
