Default AH! The Abs Diet, South Beach, The Super Market Diet..etc?

There are so many different diets.. I would like to go buy a diet book from Barnes n Noble.. From experience, which diet is the most realistic and has the best results?

No diet is a good diet. Diets do not work, because you use them until you lose weight and than you go back to your regular eating habits and gain back all the weight plus a little more. You need to change your life not your diet. I've lost a total of 55lbs now, the way I did it was by counting my calories. I still ate everything I wanted, because I knew if I didn't allow myself to eat what I wanted I would still be craving those foods and would never feel satisfied. So this is how women count calories. You take the weight you want to be let's just 120lbs. You take 120lbs and add a zero to it which would make it 1200, than you add the weight to it again so that is 1200 + 120 = 1320. You can eat 1320 Calories a day that means to maintain a weight of 120. You can find out how many calories you consume daily this way also, just change the number to your current weight, add the zero and the weight back to that number. That is how many calories it will take to maintain your current weight. Also take into account if you are doing any physical activities it will be burning some of the calories you are inputting. I would still eat a pizza, but because I only had a certain amount of calories during the day I would couple it with a low calorie salad. I feel satisfied, since I got my pizza, but I'm still eating lower calories. Good luck!
