If so, what did you find were the pros and cons?
hmm can you be little bit more specific? i think i dont uderstand your post
i hear south beach diet many times alredy, but dont know what it is all about.. can somebody enlighten me what is south beach diet? and why is it called that way?
The pros are you will be eliminating your dependance on a lot of "bad carbs", which really packs on the calories and pounds. The cons are the diet is a little bit of a shock when you first start out, you will be pretty cranky for the first few days, but if you stick it out you will really start to see results. Just do things to keep yourself busy and it will be no problem.
The good thing about South Beach Diet is that it helps you eat fewer foods that start cravings and store excessive fat. It allows you to live contently without eating the bad carbohydrates and fats because when a person eats bad carbohydrates and fats they feel hungrier, causing them to eat more, which causes weight gain. It is difficult to follow though for someone who lacks patience, dedication, and commitment.
I have not tried South Beach Diet but I have heard of it from a friend. She said that it was so hard to follow if you are new at dieting. She said that it cut her craving for a while but then she lost it and craved for more. I suggest you google it and get some testimonials from people already in the diet plan![]()
If you have the dedication and perseverance to lose weight and you are comfortable with the South Beach Diet, you can follow it successfully. It's all in the mind and you can change your perception of eating as well as your lifestyle. If you think that you cannot complete the diet plan, you can definitely do that. Find a good motivation to lose weight to make it easier for you to attain your desired result.
If you are a fan of chocolates and you cannot cut down your intake, South Beach Diet is not the one for you. Here is why:
SWEET TREATS (Limit to 75 calories per day)
Candies, hard, sugar-free
Chocolate powder, no-added-sugar
Cocoa powder, baking type
Fudgsicles, sugar-free
Gelatin, sugar-free
Gum, sugar-free
Popsicles, sugar-free
Sugar substitute Some Sugar Free
Can you line with this?![]()
OMG! I cannot live with that at all. I forgot about junk foods and chose to eat healthy and exercise so I can keep eating chocolates but 75 calories a day is just difficult

If you do consume more make sure that you stay as active as you can to burn those extra calories from eating more serving of calories. And dark chocolates are very rich in antioxidants so you gain lots of health benefits and not just fats
