Default Do I get sufficient vitamin A by eating raw carrots?

I like eating raw carrots because I feel it is healthy...
But do I get enough (daily intake or more) vitamin A by eating them raw as opposed to cooked?

I've searched the internet for almost an hour to answer this question... Some sources say your body can't use vitamin A from raw carrots at all, and some sources say the intake is somewhat less than cooked, but still a lot more than advised daily intake.

    What is the right answer?

(I also read eating them with fat or oil also seems to contribute)

That's a very good question. I would say raw since you get the full benefits but when cooked, some of the nutrients might have been lost.

I agree. I think eating raw carrots is best. If you want to be sure if you're getting enough vitamins, you can always take supplements. Just to let you know, the recommend vitamin A intake for adults is 2,670 (IU).
