Default Vitamins for trying to conceive?

Hi there, Hubby and I are ttc, and I am wanting to get some vitamins...
There is a Homeopathic shop just near my work so I want to have a look in there at lunch time. I already know not to take Vitamin A, and that folic acid is good. Which other vitamins should I avoid and which ones are good for preparing my body for a baby!

Hi pablosgirl, you will need a lot of these vitamins:

    Folic Acid (about 400mcg/day),
    B6 (up to 50mg/day)
    B12 (up to 50mcg/day)
    Vitamin C (about 1,000mg/day)
    Zinc (about 15 – 30mg/day)
    Selenium (about 55 – 100mcg/day)
    Vitamin E (about 15mg/day)

These are all the vitamins a woman should take if they are trying to conceive? That's a lot. What about her second question? The vitamins that needs to be avoided? Are there any?

Just to share, I found just a few. Foods to be avoided are caffeine and raw or undercooked meats and eggs. As for vitamins, avoid not to take too much of vitamins A, C, or D.
