Yes, it's possible to be allergic to vitamins. My cousin is allergic to vitamin c. I think he gets skin rashes when he takes one.
I agree.. That's what I heard too.. As for your other question, I'm not sure about mineral waters but what I know is, bottled water have some metal contents but not as much compared to tap water.
It is possible to have allergic reaction to vitamin c indeed. I breakout if I use anything on my skin with vitamin c. The supplement itself though doesn't affect me too much (except acid reflux). I have researched on your question about mineral water containing metal and this is what I found out:
Thirty-seven brands of domestic and imported mineral waters were analyzed for the following: alkalinity, aluminum, barium, beryllium, boron, cadmium, calcium, chloride, chromium, cobalt, copper, fluoride, iron, lead, lithium, magnesium, manganese, mercury, molybdenum, nickel, nitrate, pH, phosphate, potassium, silver, sodium, specific conductance, sulfate, tin, vanadium, and zinc. Of the waters examined in this study, 24 had one or more determinands that were not in compliance with the drinking water standards in the United States.
The Composition of a Mineral Water should be:
Acidity (ph) of 6.7-7.8
Calcium
Magnesium
Sodium
Potassium
Bicarbonate
Fluoride
I hope this helps![]()
